Delete from within the app

The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the Law Book app:

1. Open the Law Book app and sign in.
2. Go to the Settings tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm when prompted.

Your account and associated data are permanently removed from our systems immediately. This action cannot be undone.

Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in, email us from the address associated with your account and we will delete it for you:

support@lawbookusa.com

Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We verify ownership of the email address and complete deletion within 30 days of the request.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes all associated personal data, including:

• Your name, email address, and login credentials
• Consumer data: ZIP code, legal case details, search history, and saved attorneys
• Attorney data: professional details, license and bar numbers, practice areas, service area, fee schedules, profile photo, and bio
• Any active attorney subscription, which is cancelled at Stripe upon deletion

What may be retained

After deletion we do not retain your personal profile data. Limited records may be kept only where required to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations — for example, transaction and invoice records held by our payment processor (Stripe) for the period required by law. These records are not used for any other purpose and are deleted once the retention period ends.
