1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Law Book mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by ETB Enterprises LLC ("we," "us," or "Law Book"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Law Book is a marketplace platform that connects consumers seeking legal services with licensed attorneys. We provide a matching service based on practice area, location, budget, and case specifics. Law Book does not provide legal advice and is not a law firm.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You may delete your account at any time through the app's Settings screen.

4. Consumer Terms

  • Law Book provides attorney matching as an informational service only. We do not guarantee the quality, outcome, or availability of any attorney's services.
  • Any attorney-client relationship is formed directly between you and the attorney, not with Law Book.
  • You are responsible for evaluating and selecting an attorney. Law Book does not endorse any specific attorney.
  • Information you provide about your legal matter is shared with matched attorneys to facilitate the matching process.

5. Attorney Terms

  • Attorneys must hold a valid, active license to practice law in the states they indicate in their profile.
  • Attorney profiles are subject to review and approval by Law Book. We reserve the right to reject or suspend any profile.
  • Attorneys agree to pay the applicable subscription fee for listing on the platform. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
  • Attorneys are responsible for the accuracy of all profile information, including rates, practice areas, and credentials.
  • Attorneys must respond to client matches within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Payments

Attorney subscription payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time by deleting your account.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use automated tools to access or scrape the Service

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ETB Enterprises LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any attorney information or matching results.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ETB Enterprises LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to any legal services obtained through attorney matches.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes.
