4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Stripe — for payment processing (attorney subscriptions). Stripe's privacy policy governs their use of your data.
  • Google and Apple — if you use OAuth sign-in. Only authentication tokens are exchanged.
  • Resend — for transactional email delivery.
  • Other users — attorney profiles (name, practice areas, location, rates, bio) are visible to consumers using the matching service. Consumer case details are shared with matched attorneys.
  • Law enforcement — when required by law or legal process.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure token storage on your device, and hashed passwords. Payment data is processed directly by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time through the app's Settings screen, which will permanently remove your data from our systems. Attorney subscription data at Stripe is cancelled upon account deletion.

  • Opt out of non-essential communications

To exercise these rights, use the in-app settings or contact us at support@lawbookusa.com.
